Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Xzavier Jacobs (ranked 2465 p4p, 2755 weight class) and Psycho Killer (ranked 286 p4p, 321 weight class). Psycho Killer has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Xzavier Jacobs's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Xzavier Jacobs! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Psycho Killer! The judges for this bout are James Glass, Donald Grub and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jacobs throws a hook to the side of Killer's head but Killer sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Killer gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Jacobs is looking to work some ground and pound but Killer has wrist control. Jacobs slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Killer is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Jacobs will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Jacobs postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Killer lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jacobs looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

That's one minute gone in the round. Jacobs throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Killer slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Jacobs is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Jacobs on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Jacobs tries to get out of the position. Jacobs had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Killer defends it easily. Killer looking to sit in guard and control but Jacobs gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Jacobs throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Jacobs working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Jacobs preventing the sweep. Jacobs drops back looking for a leg! Killer is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Killer manages to kick Jacobs off! Jacobs jumps back into Killer's guard. Killer has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Jacobs throws a big elbow that misses.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Killer trying to control but Jacobs is working from the bottom. Jacobs has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Jacobs trying to keep a closed guard but Killer is proving a slippery customer.
Jacobs working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Killer. Killer must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Jacobs tries to strike from the bottom.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Killer showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Killer connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Jacobs's hands. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Xzavier Jacobs dominated that round. That's time! Jacobs's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
It looks like Xzavier Jacobs has been cut. Jacobs misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Killer.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Jacobs. Killer pushes Jacobs back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. The referee is keeping an eye on Killer - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Jacobs is trying to pull guard but Killer has him pressed against the cage. Good anti-grappling being displayed by Killer as Jacobs tries to tie him up. Jacobs has Killer pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Killer manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Jacobs is looking to control Killer's arms but Killer gets an underhook and turns him. Now Jacobs has his back to the cage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Killer lands a right hand that snaps the head of Jacobs backwards. Killer's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Killer works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Jacobs tries for a takedown but Killer sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Xzavier Jacobs. That's going to take a lot out of him. Killer darts in and clinches Jacobs up against the cage. Killer pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round. Killer throws a sloppy head kick and Jacobs moves out of range easily. Xzavier Jacobs is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Killer misses with a low kick. Jacobs walks into a stiff left hand from Killer. Killer moves into the clinch. Killer lands a nice shot to the body. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Killer throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Good body shot from Killer.
Killer lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Killer escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Killer lands a big right hand that sends Jacobs crashing to the mat! Killer stays standing though and waves Jacobs back to his feet!
Jacobs is rocked! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Killer rushes Jacobs and presses him up against the cage. Oh Jacobs is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Killer stalls. Jacobs seems to have got his legs back now. Killer lands a shoulder strike. Killer breaks the clinch.
Killer ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Killer throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Oooooh!!! Killer has knocked Jacobs down with a huge combo! Killer steps away and waves a wobbly Jacobs back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Xzavier Jacobs's cut is getting worse. Killer cracks Jacobs on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Jacobs falls backwards against the cage. Killer follows up with more strikes that drop Jacobs to his knees. Killer keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Jacobs! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:10 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Psycho Killer! Psycho Killer retains his light heavyweight title!
