The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ali is trying hard to land a takedown here. Shopulov sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Shopulov gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Ali counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Shopulov tries to kick Ali off in order to stand up. Ali Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
Ali is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Shopulov has escaped the position, nice work there.
Shopulov bucks up and tries to throw Ali off but instead Ali has got his back!
Shopulov is trying to stand. He's onto all fours with Ali on his back. Ali looks like he's slipping off but he's actually tansitioning to a beautiful armbar! Shopulov has to tap out to a very impressive submission!
