Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, William Ward!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Xavier Sherman!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Gregory Folan and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ward scores with a hook to the body. Sherman takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Ward throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Sherman on the side of the head.
Ward lands a jab to Sherman's midsection.
Ward connects with a right hand. Sherman shakes it off.
Sherman misses with a takedown
and Ward counters with a straight right hand.
Ward shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Ward was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Ward scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Sherman is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Ward can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
