Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jordan Jacobs! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Joaquin Dominguez! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Richard Clark and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dominguez stalks Jacobs and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Jacobs's face. Jacobs staggers backwards, shaken. Jacobs dodges the punch combination from Dominguez.
Jacobs closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Jacobs lands in his opponent's guard. Dominguez wants to stand up but Jacobs is controlling him. Jacobs is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Dominguez really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jacobs. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jacobs distracts Dominguez with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Dominguez is wriggling around but Jacobs manages to pass to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jacobs stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Dominguez to get to his feet. Dominguez looks winded! Jacobs closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Dominguez to the mat! Dominguez manages to get full guard. Jacobs is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Jacobs landing some decent shots from guard. Jacobs stands up and waves to Dominguez to follow him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jacobs moves into the clinch. Jacobs breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Dominguez throws a combination that misses and Jacobs counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Dominguez! Dominguez taking punishment in the form of punches.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Dominguez is trying to escape the position but Jacobs is controlling the position. Jacobs decides to stand back up. Jacobs takes the fight into the clinch. Dominguez is fighting off a takedown attempt but Jacobs is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Dominguez to the mat. Dominguez regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Jacobs stands up from Dominguez's guard - Jacobs perhaps looking for a knockout.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jacobs drives through with a takedown into Dominguez's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Dominguez is looking to stand back up but Jacobs counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Dominguez.

Jacobs is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Jacobs is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Dominguez is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
