With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ashi Garami!
The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Jorge Garcia and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Garami uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Tatum.
Garami bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Tatum's head backwards.
Garami darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Tatum wants to control but Garami is keeping busy.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tatum holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Garami thows a huge punch but Tatum dodges it nicely.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Garami wants to pass the guard but Tatum is keeping the position.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Tatum throws a series of punches but Garami avoids them all with ease.

Jayson Tatum has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ashi Garami.
Tatum lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Tatum fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Garami manages to avoid it.

and Tatum counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Garami! He's just covering up as Tatum starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
