Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Denise Kormier (ranked 2158 p4p, 4670 weight class) and Daniel Tung (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kormier comes to the cage accompanied by Cowboy. Tung has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Denise Kormier! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Daniel Tung! The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Fedor Mirinova and Konstantin Menshow.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kormier gets a double leg takedown into Tung's guard. Kormier could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Kormier landing with the ground and pound. Kormier engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Kormier landing with the ground and pound. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kormier content to stall in guard here. Kormier with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Kormier stands up over Tung, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Kormier is pushing down on Tung's leg trying to pass to half guard. Tung is fighting to maintain full guard but Kormier has managed to sneak the leg through. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Kormier in particular looking to stall. Nice strikes from Kormier there. Kormier is figuring out what he wants to do next. Kormier slips a nice elbow through Tung's hands, connecting with Tung's forehead.
Kormier decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
Kormier decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Kormier works his way into full mount! Kormier takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kormier cracks Tung with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Kormier controlling the position easily from mount. Tung is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Tung taking shots to the head.
 Tung is rocked!
 That's three minutes gone in the round.
Kormier is standing up, even though he is in mount. Tung is still on wobbly legs! Can Kormier finish him?
Kormier shoots in for a takedown. SLAM! Brutal! Tung is out cold and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Slam). Denise Kormier! Denise Kormier very nearly forgot to thank BANZAI NUTRITION amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
