Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hermio Junior (ranked 1335 p4p, 2995 weight class) and Davide Farina (ranked 176 p4p, 346 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hermio Junior!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Davide Farina!
The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Ivan Kurochkin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Farina ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Junior moves away.
Junior looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Farina is fending him off so far but Junior persists. Nope, Farina circles away and we're back to standing.
Junior looks for a takedown but Farina sprawls well.
Farina appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Nice sprawl there from Farina as Junior shoots in.
Farina tries a quick counter leg kick but Junior is wise to it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hermio Junior. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Farina lands a right hook to the body.
Farina swings for the body but Junior moves out of range.

Farina clinches up with Junior and pushes him back against the cage.
Farina gets underhooks to prevent Junior's takedown attempt.
Junior is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Farina is keeping busy.
Junior tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Farina smiles and moves away.

Junior throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Farina tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Junior is in Farina's guard.

Junior is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Junior is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Farina knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Farina really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Junior. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Junior is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Farina looks calm but he's in trouble here. Junior gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Farina is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Junior lets go of the hold and Farina can pop his arm back in it's socket.
