Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Alan West (ranked 4854 p4p, 23731 weight class) and Krzysztof Zakrzewski (ranked 367 p4p, 381 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Alan West!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 36 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Krzysztof Zakrzewski!
The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Valeri Chadov and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zakrzewski moves in looking to clinch but West pushes him off.
West shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. West showed some decent athleticism there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Zakrzewski is trying to get back to full guard.
Zakrzewski is controlling West's position as best he can from this difficult position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
