Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Donte Mueller (ranked 3998 p4p, 3844 weight class) and Mateo Delgado (ranked 0 p4p, 384 weight class). Donte Mueller has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Donte Mueller! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mateo Delgado! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, James Glass and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Delgado shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Mueller manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Mueller looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Delgado trying to control but Mueller is working from the bottom. Delgado engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Delgado postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Delgado stands and steps away. Mueller gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Delgado drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Delgado is trying to get an arm triangle but Mueller is defending well. Mueller knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Delgado on the ground. Delgado decides to stand up, so the ref orders Mueller to his feet. Mueller looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
That's one minute gone in the round. Delgado has managed to clinch.
Delgado drops down looking for an ankle pick but Mueller pulls his leg out and moves away.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Mueller enables Delgado to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Mueller manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Delgado scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Delgado seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Delgado decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Delgado throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Mueller was covering up waiting for the punch and Delgado finishes the takedown easily into guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Delgado not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Delgado postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Mueller really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Delgado drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Delgado jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Mueller can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Delgado controls the pace.
That's three minutes gone in the round. It looks like Delgado might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Delgado gets to his feet. Mueller looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Delgado scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Delgado is trying to work for a kimura but Mueller is defending well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Delgado is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Delgado performing his best blanket impression for a moment. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Delgado passes to side control. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Mateo Delgado dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Delgado fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Mueller manages to avoid it. Mueller throws a quick counter kick to the body but Delgado avoids it. Delgado keeps the fight on the outside. Delgado closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Delgado winds up and cracks Mueller with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Delgado uses his free foot to push down on Mueller's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Mueller. Delgado swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Mueller is now in Delgado's guard. A big mistake from Delgado there, giving up the dominant position! Mueller is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Delgado has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Mueller is looking to defend but Delgado has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Mueller! Delgado pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Mueller taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:53 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Mateo Delgado!
