Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between DJ Shaw (ranked 4256 p4p, 25080 weight class) and Alex Pereira (ranked 415 p4p, 512 weight class). Pereira has chosen Itsári - Sepultura as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. On his way into the cage it seems that DJ Shaw has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily DJ Shaw seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Richard Clark and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pereira misses with a looping left.
Shaw instigates a clinch.
Pereira's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Pereira throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Pereira ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Shaw moves away.
Pereira moves out of range as Shaw throws a body kick.
Pereira closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Pereira tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Pereira pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Shaw takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Pereira scores with a jab.

Pereira lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Oh Shaw is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Pereira dips a shoulder and cracks Shaw with a mighty uppercut! Shaw falls back against the cage and Pereira unloads with a barrage of strikes! Shaw is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Pereira screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:24 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Alex Pereira!
An out of breath Alex Pereira thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
DJ Shaw was interviewed post fight and said 'Congrats on the win sucka it's the last you'll get over me I got alot of developing to do but when I get it done no one will be able to stop me.'.
