The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shelby throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

It looks like Marcus Hayes has been cut.

Hayes shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Hayes shoots in for a double leg but Shelby sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Shelby cracks Hayes with a hook to the temple - Hayes is on wobbly legs here! Shelby swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Hayes falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Shelby wins by TKO!
