Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ed Swirly (ranked 3790 p4p, 4705 weight class) and Phishiji Zamu (ranked 399 p4p, 449 weight class). Swirly comes to the cage accompanied by The sound of goats screaming. Ed Swirly has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Ed Swirly! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Phishiji Zamu! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Sam Margolis and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A low kick from Swirly misses and Zamu connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Swirly fails to land with a series of punches.
Swirly throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Zamu counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Swirly misses with a wild body shot. Zamu swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Swirly with a nice cross.
It looks like Phishiji Zamu has been cut. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Swirly, as that shot connected.
Swirly misses with an uppercut. Zamu swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Zamu moves out of range of the leg kick from Swirly. Zamu swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Swirly throws a body shot but no joy. Swirly throws the kick towards the body but Zamu avoids it. Swirly clobbers Zamu with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Swirly misses with a looping left. It seemed like Zamu was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. This has been an exciting period of action! A big right from Swirly misses. Swirly is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

and Zamu cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Zamu cracks Swirly with an open hand slap. Sloppy strikes from Swirly. Those never looked like landing. It seemed like Zamu was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Swirly throws a jab when Zamu was well out of range. Swirly misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Zamu.
Nice uppercut there from Zamu. Swirly looks to throw the jab but Zamu is out of range. Swirly throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Zamu has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Swirly swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Ed Swirly seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Zamu uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Swirly. Swirly fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Zamu throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Swirly stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Swirly throws a front kick aimed at Zamu's knee but Zamu avoids it well. Swirly lands with an uppercut that bounces Zamu off the cage and back into range. Swirly swings widly with a right hand
and Zamu counters with a straight right hand. Swirly misses with an uppercut. Swirly throws a leg kick that is checked letting Zamu counter with a right hand. This has been an exciting period of action! Zamu blocks a low kick nicely. Swirly is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Swirly throws a low kick but Zamu avoids it. Zamu looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Swirly's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Zamu connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Swirly scrambles back to his feet. Swirly misses the shot to the body. Swirly takes a shot to the body in his stride.
A clash of legs there as Zamu blocks the low kick. Zamu swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Zamu is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Swirly had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush. Swirly throws a low kick but it's checked well by Zamu. Swirly has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Swirly there as he acknowledges the shot. Swirly throws a body shot but no joy. Swirly throws a leg kick and Zamu counters with a left and a right that stings Swirly. Swirly throws a body shot but no joy. Zamu stuns Swirly with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Swirly rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Zamu cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Swirly misses with a low kick.
Zamu looks like he wants to counter punch here. Swirly misses with an uppercut. Zamu lands a body shot.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Zamu moves into range and connects with a jab. A jab lands there for Zamu. Zamu avoids a punch combination nicely.
Swirly misses with a wild body shot. It seemed like Zamu was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Zamu scores with a jab. Swirly acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Zamu cracks Swirly with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Zamu lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Swirly misses with a leg kick and Zamu counters with a three punch combo that has Swirly backing up. Swirly nods at Zamu to acknowledge the strikes. Zamu drops his hands momentarily and Swirly takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Swirly just misses with a punch to the body.
Swirly walks into a jab. Zamu cracks Swirly with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Swirly takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Swirly is looking to score with low kicks. Zamu lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Zamu scores with a hook. Zamu scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Zamu ducks under a wild hook from Swirly. Swirly throws a lazy uppercut
and Zamu counters with a lovely straight right hand! Zamu works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Zamu connects with a looping right hand.
Swirly is rocked! Zamu connects with a looping right hand.
Oh Swirly is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Swirly swings widly with a right hand
and Zamu cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Swirly looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that. Swirly takes one on the chin but seems OK.
A leg kick checked by Zamu. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Swirly ducks right into an uppercut from Zamu. Zamu closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Swirly! Zamu dives in looking to finish! Swirly is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Phishiji Zamu! Ed Swirly was interviewed post fight and said 'Losses don't bother me because I know I'll swirl right back around.'.
