Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brian Crews (ranked 3769 p4p, 3854 weight class) and Bastien Deny (ranked 399 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Brian Crews! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bastien Deny! The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Donald Grub and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A punch combination from Crews misses. Deny tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. No joy there for Crews, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
And Deny tries to counter it with a takedown but Crews pushes his down on his head and steps out. Crews misses with a double jab.
The fight moves into the clinch position. Deny dodges an elbow strike from Crews.
Deny tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Crews just stands there and leans against the cage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Crews is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Crews is trying to break the clinch but Deny is controlling him. Crews working hard to break the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Deny is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Crews gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Crews is pressed up against the cage. Deny has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Crews down to the mat. Crews avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Brian Crews has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bastien Deny. Deny takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Crews misses with a wild combination.
Crews waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Deny. Crews will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Deny is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Crews fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Deny on the side of the head. Deny is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Crews shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Deny eats them both and turns towards Crews to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Crews lands a two punch combo.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Crews misses with a jab, cross combination.
Crews darts in trying to clinch and Deny counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Deny stops Crews from standing up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Crews trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Crews working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Deny. Deny throws a big right hand that misses. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Deny throws a big right hand that misses.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Deny on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Crews. Crews obviously looking to wear him down.
Crews throws a leg kick and Deny counters with a single leg into guard. Crews didn't expect that.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Deny won't allow Crews to get back to his feet. Deny stands up from guard. Let's bang! Crews clobbers Deny with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Crews looks to land a right hand but Deny moved out of range. Deny with the counter takedown but Crews avoids it easily. Crews throws a body punch but Deny moves out of range. And Deny tries to counter it with a takedown but Crews pushes his down on his head and steps out. Crews throws a nice looking combination but Deny bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Deny tries to keep at a distance but Crews has taken the fight into the clinch. Deny manages to pull guard.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Brian Crews dominated that round. That's time! Crews's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Crews throws a left and a right that both miss
and Deny counters with a nice double leg into side control. Crews won't be happy with that. The strikes coming from Deny are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Deny misses with the ground and pound. Deny has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Crews misses with a combination
and Deny counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Crews! Crews tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops. Crews is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Deny can do to turn this around? Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Crews won't enjoy being in this position. Deny looking for the choke. Oh... he's slipped the arm under the neck - Crews is tapping - it's over boys! Deny picks up the submission victory!
