Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Albert Wesker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jamie Horton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wesker comes to the cage accompanied by Thriller. Horton has chosen Sorry, you're not a winner as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Albert Wesker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Jamie Horton!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Donald Grub and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Horton with that takedown attempt.
Horton shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Horton takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Wesker misses with a two punch combination.
Horton looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Albert Wesker has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jamie Horton.

Horton moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Horton tries to score a power double leg takedown but Wesker sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Horton somewhat.
Horton closes the distance and clinches up with Wesker, looking for a takedown. Horton pushes Wesker against the cage but Wesker circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Wesker swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Wesker scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Horton takes a jab right on the kisser.
Wesker misses with a few strikes there.
Wesker cracks Horton with a right hand to the side of the head.

Wesker pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Horton does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Wesker tries to bum rush Horton with a series of wild strikes but Horton uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Wesker throws a nice looking combination but Horton bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Horton walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Wesker cracks a nice hook into Horton's ribs.

Horton shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Wesker is trying to defend but Horton finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Horton is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Horton seems to be working for a kimura but Wesker defends the submission attempt.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

so Horton counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Wesker is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Horton can do to turn this around?
This has been an exciting period of action!

Horton is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Wesker is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Wesker has escaped and now he's on top!

Horton escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Wesker gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Horton working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Wesker doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Wesker manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Wesker is looking to stand up but Horton won't let him.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Wesker moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Albert Wesker is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Wesker scores with a one two! Horton had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Wesker, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
