Let's get this grappling contest under way! Who will be victorious? Boone closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Fiachna quickly recovers to half guard. Boone is working away from the top position though. Fiachna is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Fiachna wants to control but Boone is keeping busy.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Boone gets his hands free as Fiachna looks to control. I really don't envy Fiachna right now.
