Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Luan Mesquita (ranked 272 p4p, 502 weight class) and Grant Hyde (ranked 31 p4p, 61 weight class). Hyde has chosen Darkside-Neoni as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Luan Mesquita!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Grant Hyde!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Dillan Fox and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hyde throws a looping overhand right but Mesquita ducks down to avoid it.
Hyde lands with an uppercut that bounces Mesquita off the cage and back into range.
Mesquita takes one on the button.
Hyde throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Hyde feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Mesquita sprawling to the canvas! Mesquita rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Hyde finish him?!
Mesquita is rocked!
It looks like Luan Mesquita has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hyde throws an overhand right that lands on Mesquita's shoulder, as Mesquita tries to avoid the shot.
Oh Mesquita is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hyde lands a nice shot to the body.
Hyde looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Hyde backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Mesquita's temple! It sends Mesquita violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Hyde celebrates and the doctors try to help Mesquita!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Flying Knee). Grant Hyde!
Grant Hyde very nearly forgot to thank Kersikov's Vitamin Clinic (160) amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
