Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Cody Beair (ranked 25241 p4p, 4624 weight class) and Gideons Spekmanis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Beair comes into the arena with We Will Rock You blaring out of the sound system. Cody Beair had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Cody Beair!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Gideons Spekmanis!
The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Chris Saunders and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beair has closed the distance and engaged Spekmanis in a clinch.
Spekmanis has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Beair uses from the top position.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
