Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Charles Oliveira (ranked 1746 p4p, 24517 weight class) and Memnon Tithonus (ranked 169 p4p, 424 weight class). Oliveira comes into the arena with In the air tonight Phil collins blaring out of the sound system. Tithonus comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Nishaiar - Duhanakhar kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Alexandre Firmino and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oliveira has managed to clinch.

Tithonus throws a punch but it's blocked by Oliveira.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Tithonus has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Tithonus tries to close the distance and clinch but Oliveira swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Oliveira attempts a counter takedown but Tithonus avoids it well and moves away.

Tithonus tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Tithonus has closed the distance and engaged Oliveira in a clinch.

Charles Oliveira has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Memnon Tithonus.
Oliveira lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Oliveira turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Oliveira manages to end up in side control.
Tithonus is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Oliveira off and has taken his back!

After winning the bout, Memnon Tithonus thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
