Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Billy Grandall (ranked 2351 p4p, 2728 weight class) and Harry Kane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Grandall comes to the cage accompanied by SKYBEEF. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Billy Grandall!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 12 - 0, fighting out of London, Harry Kane!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grandall moves out of range as Kane strikes.
Kane throws a right and a left that Grandall avoids nicely.
Grandall half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Kane misses with a wild body shot.
Kane misses with an uppercut.
Grandall changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Kane connects with a single shot there.
Some wild striking there from Kane.
Kane throws a hook to the side of Grandall's head but Grandall sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Grandall drops down looking for a counter takedown but Kane sprawls and moves away.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Grandall decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Kane's guard.
Grandall definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kane stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Grandall swivels though and keeps the full guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Grandall is on top in guard.
Kane looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Grandall postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Kane not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Kane has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Grandall can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Kane has momentary wrist control but Grandall slips an elbow through the middle.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

A close round but Harry Kane will probably get the nod.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Kane. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.
Kane throws a jab but it's blocked by Grandall.

Grandall bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Grandall appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Harry Kane is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Kane moves into range and connects with a jab.
Kane connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Grandall momentarily.
Kane looks to land a combination. Grandall sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Grandall ducks right into an uppercut from Kane.
Kane will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Grandall! Submission of the night perhaps?
