The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Ivan Kurochkin and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Andre pressing his opponent against the cage.
Mcdonald has had enough of the clinch but Andre keeps him there for the moment.
Mcdonald drops down looking for an ankle pick but Andre pulls his leg out and moves away.
Mcdonald misses with a double jab
and Andre moves into the clinch.
Mcdonald is looking for a takedown.
Mcdonald tries to pull guard but Andre forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Vlad Andre has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Timothy Mcdonald.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mcdonald wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Andre has him pressed against the cage.
Mcdonald changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Andre fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Mcdonald shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Andre counters with a shoot takedown. Mcdonald fights it but they end up in guard.
Mcdonald is wriggling around but Andre manages to pass to half guard.

Andre seems to be working for a kimura but Mcdonald defends the submission attempt.
Andre passes into side control, despite Mcdonald's attempt to control the position.
Mcdonald trying to control but Andre flips him over like a cheap hooker and has his back!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
