Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Matt Anderson (ranked 3847 p4p, 2695 weight class) and Modris Murdermanis (ranked 0 p4p, 303 weight class). Modris Murdermanis will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Modris Murdermanis!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Jorge Garcia and Jonathan Paton.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Anderson shoots in and bounces Murdermanis off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Anderson stands up and waves to Murdermanis to follow him.

Anderson pushes Murdermanis up against the cage in a clinch.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Murdermanis tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Anderson wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Anderson is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Murdermanis is surviving well by controlling Anderson's body position as best he can.
