Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy John (ranked 3948 p4p, 4313 weight class) and Scott Tolzien (ranked 430 p4p, 466 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jimmy John!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Scott Tolzien!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Gwen Towbar and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
John keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
John takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
John misses with an uppercut.
John walks into a jab.
Tolzien steps to the side to avoid the strikes from John.
Tolzien walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
We've been told by John's head coaches at Fireball Zone that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Tolzien catches John with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
John checks a low kick from Tolzien.
The fight stays on the outside here - Tolzien looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Tolzien cracks John with a good jab.
Tolzien closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
John fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

John doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
John's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
The fighters circle momentarily. Tolzien darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
John misses with an uppercut
and Tolzien counters with a left right combination that sends John crashing to the mat - Tolzien wastes no time in diving on top of him and pounding John out for a TKO! Devastating finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Scott Tolzien!
