Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Trouble Sommer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Lyless Joakim!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Tiny Johnson and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed right hand from Sommer misses the target.
Joakim manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Sommer on his heels. He'll look to pass Sommer's guard now, I'm sure.
Sommer pulls Joakim in close to prevent any damage.
Joakim is looking to pass into half guard but Sommer pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Sommer is in guard.
Joakim wants to stand up but Sommer is controlling him.
Joakim is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sommer controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Sommer tries to pass to full mount but Joakim defends it.

and Sommer takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Joakim tries to close the distance and clinch up but Sommer swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Sommer swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.

Sommer avoids the body shot from Joakim.
Joakim tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Sommer manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Sommer slips a straight right by Joakim.
Sommer seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

Joakim swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Joakim takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

letting Sommer counter with a right hand.
Joakim misses with an uppercut
and Joakim takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Sommer takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
The fighters circle momentarily. Joakim darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Joakim scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Joakim throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Sommer.
Sommer is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Sommer thuds a left hand into Joakim's body.

Sommer moves out of range as Joakim strikes.
Joakim shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

and Sommer counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Joakim tries to clinch but Sommer moves away
letting Sommer counter with a right hand.
Joakim throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Sommer counters with a crisp right hand that drops Joakim! Sommer lets Joakim back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Joakim is rocked!
Sommer fakes the body blow, causing Joakim to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Joakim goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
