Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Brian O Conner!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Walter Conway!
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
O Conner shoots in for a takedown but Conway shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
O Conner misses with a takedown
and Conway counters by moving into the clinch.
O Conner has had enough of the clinch but Conway keeps him there for the moment.
Conway has O Conner pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. O Conner manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

O Conner breaks from the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
O Conner closes the distance and clinches up with Conway, looking for a takedown. O Conner pushes Conway against the cage but Conway circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
O Conner is breathing heavily.
Conway ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Conway tries to counter by closing the distance.
O Conner fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Conway, pushing him back against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round.
O Conner has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Conway wants the takedown. O Conner is fighting it off but Conway persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in O Conner's guard against the cage.
O Conner looking for a sweep. Not yet O Conner, not yet.
O Conner is trying to keep Conway in close.
O Conner is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
O Conner misses with a head shot. Conway uses the momentum to regain guard.

O Conner content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Conway has locked up a guillotine! Conway's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? O Conner is holding on here and Conway must be using up a lot of energy. O Conner has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Conway gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
