Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Shigeki Fujiwara and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Sakuraba.
Svart throws a head kick but Sakuraba moves out of range.
Svart pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Svart throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Svart throws a head kick that half lands.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Svart.
Sakuraba takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Svart sets himself and throws a head kick that knocks Sakuraba to the ground! Svart dives into full mount looking to finish!
It looks like Kazushi Sakuraba has been cut.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sakuraba tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Svart controlling from the full mount.
Svart looking to control but Sakuraba is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Svart really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sakuraba. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Sakuraba is squirming around, avoiding Svart's attempts to control the action.

Sakuraba bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Sakuraba passes Svart's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Svart tries to kick Sakuraba off but Sakuraba keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Sakuraba avoids the head kick by Svart.
A head kick misses from Svart.
Horrible takedown by Sakuraba or perhaps it was just good defense by Svart which made him look bad.
Sakuraba misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Svart.

Svart is trying to stand back up but Sakuraba is controlling him
Sakuraba misses with a head shot. Svart uses the momentum to regain guard.
Sakuraba wants to control from the top but Svart keeps moving.
Sakuraba has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Svart is proving hard to escape from.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Sakuraba trying to control the position from guard on top but Svart is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Sakuraba shoots in and drives through. Svart sprawls well.
Sakuraba on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Svart, right into the meat.
Svart goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
A head kick lands from Svart that sends Sakuraba to the canvas. Sakuraba tries to scramble back to his feet but Svart brings him back down into side control.
Sakuraba might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Svart stands up.
Svart throws a head kick that Sakuraba semi-blocks.
Sakuraba is rocked!
Svart throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Svart throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Sakuraba.
Sakuraba takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
The fighters circle, before Svart throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Sakuraba's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Svart lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:07 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Kick & Punches). Mertsi Svart!
