Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thiago Oliveira (ranked 3107 p4p, 3560 weight class) and Jason Spartan (ranked 360 p4p, 409 weight class). Spartan comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Try That in a Small Town kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Jason Spartan told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Thiago Oliveira!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jason Spartan!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Joseph Jones and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spartan shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Oliveira counters with a head kick.
Oliveira throws a sloppy head kick and Spartan moves out of range easily.
Thiago Oliveira seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Oliveira cracks Spartan with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
