Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Joey Dibiassi (ranked 2923 p4p, 3624 weight class) and Kimchi Master (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Joey Dibiassi! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 7 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kimchi Master! The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Columbo Gatti and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Master swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Dibiassi makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Master throws a poor cross that misses
and Dibiassi cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Master lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Master is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Dibiassi misses with a jab, cross combination.
Master connects with a looping right hand.
Master is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Dibiassi swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Dibiassi takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Master tries to clinch but Dibiassi is having none of it. An attempted straight right counter from Dibiassi misses the target. Master throws a combination that misses and Dibiassi moves into the clinch. Dibiassi blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Dibiassi prevents a body shot from Master. Dibiassi stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Dibiassi is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Dibiassi tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
That's one minute gone in the round. A left hand lands to the body for Dibiassi.
Master misses with a punch on the inside.
Dibiassi breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Master wants to clinch up but Dibiassi keeps it at a distance. It looked like Dibiassi was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Master with a jab. Dibiassi shoots and misses and Master counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Dibiassi keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Master. Dibiassi looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Master fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Dibiassi, pushing him back against the cage. Master lands a body punch. Dibiassi definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Dibiassi pressing his opponent against the cage. Dibiassi lands with a short shot to the head. Master wants to break the clinch but can't.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Master wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Dibiassi scores with a nice hook to the head. Dibiassi displaying some good clinch control by pressing Master up against the cage. Master pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Nice defenses there by Dibiassi. Dibiassi appears to be looking for a big counter. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Master wants to clinch up but Dibiassi keeps it at a distance. Dibiassi throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Dibiassi pushes Master up against the cage in a clinch. Dibiassi tries to throw a body punch but Master avoids it by throwing Dibiassi back against the cage. A head punch blocked on the inside by Dibiassi. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Dibiassi. Dibiassi lands with a short shot to the head. A short right from Dibiassi on the inside.
Master is rocked! Dibiassi manages to pull guard.
Master is still in real trouble! Can Dibiassi finish him? Dibiassi is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Dibiassi makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. Dibiassi breaks the clinch.
Master misses with a wild combination.
Master rushes Dibiassi and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. A short right hand to the side of the head by Dibiassi. Master throws a punch but it's blocked by Dibiassi. Dibiassi's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Master throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Dibiassi. Dibiassi is looking to counter with head kicks. Master throws a combination that misses and Dibiassi counters with an inside leg kick. Dibiassi is really turning it up, unleashing another crisp combination which drops Master like a ton of bricks! The referee dives in to stop the fight, saving Master from another fist facial!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Joey Dibiassi!
