Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Bronson Cobb!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rick Viaz!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Richard Clark and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Viaz connects with a good right hand that stumbles Cobb. Cobb circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Cobb scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Cobb tries to pass the half guard into mount. Viaz knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Cobb looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Cobb is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Viaz doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Cobb.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Cobb in particular looking to stall.

Cobb passes the guard and advances to mount!
Cobb wants to take Viaz's back here but Viaz is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.
Viaz has given up his back here. Will Cobb look for the submission or keep pounding away?
Viaz defends a prolonged rear naked choke attempt and turns nicely into his opponent's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Cobb wants to sweep but no luck.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Viaz looking to sit in guard and control but Cobb gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Cobb advances to half guard.
Cobb stalling.
Viaz tries to get to full guard but Cobb has control of the leg.
Cobb is working for a kimura but Viaz is defending it quite comfortably.

The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Cobb is working for a submission of some sort.
Viaz tries to roll over but Cobb keeps him under control.
Cobb is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Cobb has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Viaz looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back!
Viaz is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Cobb is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Viaz has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.
Cobb is cranking Viaz's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Viaz! He's tightened the choke and Viaz is tapping out!
