Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marshall Hoover (ranked 3421 p4p, 3247 weight class) and Yuchung Li (ranked 374 p4p, 355 weight class). Hoover comes to the cage accompanied by The Young Punx - Ready For The Fight. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Marshall Hoover!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Yuchung Li!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Paul Tew and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Li with that takedown attempt.
Li shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Hoover defends it nicely.
Hoover darts in looking for a takedown but Li gets double underhooks and turns Hoover into the cage.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Li takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Li has had enough of the clinch but Hoover keeps him there for the moment.
Hoover is looking to take this one to the mat.
Hoover wants to take the fight to the mat but Li manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Marshall Hoover. That's going to take a lot out of him.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hoover tries to pull guard but Li forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Li tries to circle away but Hoover has him pinned against the cage.
Hoover has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Li avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Li is pressed up against the cage. Hoover has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Li down to the mat. Li avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Li shoots in and drives through. Hoover sprawls well.
Li shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Hoover manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Li with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Li controls from within his opponent's guard.

Hoover knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Li on the ground.
Li is in close to Hoover's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Li postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Hoover has momentary wrist control but Li slips an elbow through the middle.
Li makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Li stands up over Hoover, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Li prevents Hoover from getting back to his feet.
Li cracks Hoover with a solid left hand.
Li wants to control from the top but Hoover keeps moving.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hoover wants to get back to his feet but Li passes into half guard.
Li working over Hoover with some ground and pound. Hoover looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Li winds up and cracks Hoover with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Li stops Hoover from getting back to his feet.
Li uses his free foot to push down on Hoover's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Hoover.

You get the feeling that Hoover really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Hoover is breathing heavily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Hoover is trying to get back to his feet but can't.

Whack. That's a big, big shot from Li! Hoover is out cold! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Yuchung Li!
A very excited looking Yuchung Li made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
In defeat, Marshall Hoover stepped up to the mic, saying 'Congratulations for my oponent.
Thank you for good, tough fight!'.
