Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Antonio Barbosa (ranked 2233 p4p, 3286 weight class) and Dougie McFistface (ranked 205 p4p, 296 weight class). Barbosa comes into the arena with Eminem - Go to Sleep blaring out of the sound system. McFistface has chosen Tiptoe Through The Tulips as his entrance music. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 26 - 20 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Antonio Barbosa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are George Francis, Frank Dennis and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw McFistface working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
McFistface drops back, looking for a kneebar! Barbosa looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Barbosa looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Barbosa!
McFistface is looking to reverse the position.

I was talking to Barbosa's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

A little feinted left hand from Barbosa on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Barbosa cracks McFistface with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Barbosa lands a big uppercut and McFistface crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but McFistface looks OK. Barbosa waves McFistface back to his feet!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
McFistface goes for a double leg but Barbosa avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Barbosa continues to drive forward.

McFistface takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

McFistface sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Barbosa cracks McFistface with a brutal left hook that knocks him out cold! This one is over in a flash! Game over!
