Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tyler Shamrock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and cain todd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shamrock comes to the cage accompanied by Jimmy Eat World - Bleed American. cain todd will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Steven Brown and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shamrock shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts todd as he jumps to the side.
todd closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
todd is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Shamrock has escaped the position, nice work there.
Shamrock struggling a bit here.
Shamrock manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
todd trying to hold on to Shamrock's head to control him but Shamrock postures up.
Shamrock seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but todd does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Shamrock is thwarting todd's attempts to control the position.
Shamrock is looking for a kimura but todd is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Shamrock to get the leverage.
That's one minute gone in the round.
todd is staying active underneath Shamrock, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Shamrock uses his free foot to push down on todd's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for todd.
todd is trying desperately to improve position.
todd is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
todd is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Shamrock locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! todd is forced to tap!
