PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Quinton St Pierre (ranked 2768 p4p, 3302 weight class) and Brain Game (ranked 325 p4p, 373 weight class). St Pierre comes into the arena with Can't Be Touched blaring out of the sound system. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Quinton St Pierre!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Brain Game!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, George Francis and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

St Pierre closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

St Pierre is trying to get an arm triangle but Game is defending well.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Game can do anything to dispel that myth.
Game is looking for a sweep.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

We've been hearing good reports from St Pierre's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

A relieved looking Quinton St Pierre thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
The defeated Brain Game had this to say: 'I wanna run that shit back. Some BS Voodoo shit happened here.'.
