Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Cody Beair (ranked 25252 p4p, 4256 weight class) and Armand Ferguson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Beair comes to the cage accompanied by We Will Rock You. Cody Beair has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Cody Beair!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Armand Ferguson!
The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Ryoma Takatsuka and Roger Salmon.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ferguson shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Beair manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Beair is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Ferguson dives into side control.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Ferguson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Beair fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Ferguson has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
