Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Paul Proctor!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 33 - 37 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Romulus Gerber!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, James Glass and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Proctor misses the shot to the body.
Proctor slips a straight right by Gerber.
A telegraphed right hand from Proctor misses the target.
Gerber looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Proctor falls off balance throwing a combination
and Gerber counters with a slapping leg kick.
Proctor swings widly with a right hand
and Gerber counters with a big head kick but Proctor shrugs it off.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Gerber cracks a nice hook into Proctor's ribs.
Gerber displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Proctor throws out the jab.
Gerber throws out a counter right but Proctor avoids it with no problem.

Proctor gets tackled into the cage by Gerber. Gerber maintains the clinch.
Gerber comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

Gerber presses Proctor against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.

We've been hearing reports that Proctor has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Gerber lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Gerber pushes Proctor against the cage. Gerber is working some dirty boxing. Gerber pushes off with a quick right hook! Proctor goes down! Proctor tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Gerber moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!
