Coming up we have a middleweight kickboxing rules bout between Jakul DuVicius (ranked 4584 p4p, 4930 weight class) and Luis De Teixiera (ranked 419 p4p, 444 weight class). De Teixiera has chosen Starry Starry Night - Don Mclean as his entrance music. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jakul DuVicius!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 1, fighting out of London, Luis De Teixiera!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Damien Edna and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Teixiera goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
DuVicius seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
DuVicius ducks under a wild hook from De Teixiera.
De Teixiera throws a leg kick that is checked
letting DuVicius counter with a right hand.
De Teixiera walks into a jab.
De Teixiera throws a sloppy head kick
and DuVicius counters with a low kick, right behind De Teixiera 's knee.
DuVicius feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits De Teixieras jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
De Teixiera misses with a body kick.
DuVicius bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
De Teixiera throws a head kick that misses.
Luis De Teixiera seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
DuVicius scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
DuVicius looks low and kicks high, catching De Teixiera right on the side of the head, sending him crashing to the canvas! Will he be able to beat the count? 3,4,5 - he's already back to his feet and ready to go! Let's see if he's still with it!
De Teixiera throws a low kick but DuVicius moves out of range easily.
De Teixiera swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and DuVicius makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
De Teixiera throws a series of punches but DuVicius moves out of range.

and De Teixiera takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
De Teixiera throws a sloppy head kick
and DuVicius counters with a straight right that drops De Teixiera on his ass! De Teixiera jumps back to his feet. He seems OK to continue so we'll get back to the action.
De Teixiera is rocked!
DuVicius throws a looping overhand right but De Teixiera ducks down to avoid it.

A low kick from De Teixiera is predictable there
and DuVicius counters with a straight right that drops De Teixiera on his ass! De Teixiera jumps back to his feet. He seems OK to continue so we'll get back to the action.
De Teixiera is still on wobbly legs! Can DuVicius finish him?
De Teixiera misses with a body shot
and DuVicius counters with a nice low kick that buckles De Teixiera's knee momentarily.
De Teixiera seems to have recovered his senses.
De Teixiera throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
DuVicius throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
De Teixiera looks winded!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
De Teixiera steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from DuVicius. That one must have hurt.
DuVicius connects with an inside leg kick.
DuVicius bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
A shot to the body from De Teixiera misses
and DuVicius counters with a really nice, stiff jab that drops De Teixiera onto his ass. He'll have to take the mandatory count from the referee but he's back on his feet and he seems OK to continue.
De Teixiera walks straight into a perfectly timed right hook, crumpling him to the floor! De Teixiera is in all kinds of trouble here - can he beat the count? 3,4,5,6,7,8,9....10 - he's out and it's by a long way too - he didn't ever look like beating that count!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Jakul DuVicius!
A relieved looking Jakul DuVicius thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
