Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Shin Otami (ranked 4033 p4p, 3836 weight class) and Kai Good (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Shin Otami!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Kai Good!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Shigeki Sano and Yukihiro Shimada.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Otami tries for a takedown but Good sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Good shoots for a double leg takedown but Otami sprawls well. He's pushed Good's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Otami stuffs the takedown.
Otami seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.

Otami tries to sprawl but Good drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Good throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Otami tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Good is in Otami's guard.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Good looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Otami with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

That was a close round but I would say that Shin Otami will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Good shoots in looking for a takedown but Otami manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Good's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Good is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Otami doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Good.
Good is just content to waste time from the top position. Otami takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Otami is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Good defends well.

Good drops back looking for a leg! Otami is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Otami manages to kick Good off! Good jumps back into Otami's guard.
Good throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Otami works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Otami really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

I think Good has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
