Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Gunnar Murphy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tim Horton!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murphy blocks a jab.
Horton moves away from the strike by Murphy.
Horton let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Horton connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Murphy tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Murphy throws an overhand right that lands on Horton's shoulder, as Horton tries to avoid the shot.
Horton looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Horton fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Murphy is out of range.
Murphy fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Horton dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Murphy. That did some damage!
Horton throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Horton scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Horton dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Murphy shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Horton lands with a right hand.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Murphy closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Horton ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Murphy moves away.
A looping hook to the body misses from Horton. Murphy does a little dance to reset his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Horton throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Murphy sees it coming and avoids it easily.
A nice leg kick lands there from Horton.
Murphy ducks under a wild hook from Horton.
Tim Horton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Murphy takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Horton throws a quick inside leg kick.
Horton throws a head kick but Murphy moves out of range.
Horton changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Horton lands an overhand right.
Horton takes one on the button.
A head kick by Horton misses
and Murphy counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Horton throws an overhand right that lands on Murphy's shoulder, as Murphy tries to avoid the shot.
Horton connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Murphy connects with an inside leg kick.
This has been an exciting period of action!
A jab from Horton does it's job there.
Horton scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Horton walks straight into a big right, left combination from Murphy and drops to the floor! Oh, he's out cold! He's out cold! Wow, that finish was brutal! Congratulations to Murphy as he moves his way up the rankings!
