Coming up we have a lightweight kickboxing rules bout between James Duke (ranked 3144 p4p, 20684 weight class) and Medieval Mercenary (ranked 285 p4p, 417 weight class). The key to victory for James Duke has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 11 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, James Duke! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 12 - 31 - 2, fighting out of New York, Medieval Mercenary! The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Yuuki Gou and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Duke gets in close and instigates a clinch. Mercenary misses with a punch on the inside.
Duke lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Mercenary backwards. Mercenary tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Duke avoids it. Duke breaks the clinch.
A combination from Mercenary does no damage. Duke misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Duke takes the fight into the clinch. Duke blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Duke breaks from the clinch.
Duke fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Mercenary takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Duke lands with a hook. Mercenary tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Mercenary has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Mercenary there as he acknowledges the shot. Duke scores with a jab. Mercenary acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Mercenary misses with a low kick.
Duke has managed to clinch.
Mercenary struggles to land a body shot inside as Duke controls his hands.
Duke breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Mercenary drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Mercenary is rocked! Duke avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Duke looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mercenary takes one on the button. Mercenary is still on wobbly legs! Can Duke finish him? Duke slips a jab from Mercenary. Duke throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Mercenary seems to have recovered his senses. Nice shot by Duke. Duke slips a straight right by Mercenary. Duke darts in and clinches Mercenary up against the cage. A head punch blocked on the inside by Duke. Duke blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Duke lands with a light punch inside. Duke escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Duke blocks a jab. Duke scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Duke connects with a body shot. Duke closes the distance and pushes Mercenary back into the cage. A short right from Mercenary. Duke blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Duke breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Mercenary misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Duke connects with a body shot that sends Mercenary's belly button to the back. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Duke lands with a hook. Mercenary tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Duke's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Duke duly obliges.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mercenary on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Duke changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Duke scores with a punch to the head. Duke catches Mercenary napping and connects with a fantastic 3 punch combination that sends Mercenary crashing to the mat! He's still conscious but he's all over the place - can he beat the count?!? 4,5,6,7,8...9...10! He didn't make it back to his feet! Duke raises both arms skywards and takes in the roar from the crowd!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). James Duke! James Duke spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
