Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ethan Walters (ranked 4499 p4p, 3827 weight class) and Ray Don (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Walters comes to the cage accompanied by Shepard Of Fire. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Ray Don enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ethan Walters! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ray Don! The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Ron Honeybunn and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice body kick from Don. Don lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Walters circles away quickly and effectively. Walters is looking for a counter combo. Walters keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Walters tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Don manages to circle out of the way. Walters throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Don counters by moving into the clinch. Walters jumps guard but Don turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Don has Walters pressed against the cage.
Don using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Walters has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Don scores a nice knee to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Walters tries to score a body lock takedown but Don shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Don stops a takedown attempt from Walters.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ethan Walters. That's going to take a lot out of him. Don is looking for a takedown. Don unloads a knee to the mid-section. Walters lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
That's one minute gone in the round. Don's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Walters tries to close the distance and clinch but Don swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Don slips a jab and a cross from Walters.
Don throws a series of punches but Walters avoids them all with ease. Don lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Don fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Walters to the ground. Don is now in Walters's guard. Walters looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Don looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Walters is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Walters is breathing heavily. Don content to stall in guard here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Walters throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Walters throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Walters throws his legs up looking for a submission but Don uses it to pass to side control.
Walters tries to bench press Don off him but Don keeps the position. Don controlling the position. Walters defending against the ground and pound.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Walters tries to improve position but can't. A lull in the action here. Walters is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Don is controlling him well. Don working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Walters throwing some weak shots from the bottom that do no damage.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Don throws a nice outside leg kick. Don fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Walters, pushing him back against the cage. Don tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Don breaks from the clinch.
Ray Don seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Walters stuffs the takedown attempt from Don. Don gets slowly back to his feet. Walters shoots in looking for a takedown. Don tries to sprawl out of it but Walters keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Don manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Walters tries to clinch there but Don circles away.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Ray Don dominated that round. That's time! Walters's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Don moves into the clinch successfully.
Walters tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Don wants to take the fight to the mat but Walters manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Walters has had enough of the clinch but Don keeps him there for the moment. Walters avoiding damage as Don throws knees to the body.
Don manages to break the clinch.
Don throws a low kick but it's checked well by Walters. Walters tries to clinch but Don moves away and Don counters with a series of strikes. Walters will be more careful next time no doubt. Don closes the distance and clinches. Don has been the more effective fighter overall so far. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Walters jumps guard but Don stands there with Walters around his waist. Walters gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Walters has Don pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Don manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Don breaks the clinch.
Don connects with an inside leg kick. Walters pushes Don up against the cage in a clinch. Walters tries to pull guard but Don holds him up against the cage and eventually Walters drops back down to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Don breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Walters tries to clinch up. Don dives in for a single leg takedown but Walters sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Don gets in close and instigates a clinch. Walters has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Don avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Don has Walters pressed against the cage.
Walters drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Don gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Walters is trying to break free.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Don stalling.
A right hand to the body from Don.
Walters has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Don after a bit of a struggle. Walters tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Don decides to pull guard. Don controls Walters momentarily but Walters frees himself. Don is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Walters is looking to stand up but Don won't let him. Don utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Don holds on and takes a little breather. Don wants to stand and escape but Walters is having none of it.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Walters misses with a double jab.
Don is looking for the big counter here. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Don closes the distance and pushes Walters back into the cage. Walters pulls guard successfully.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Walters is trying to control the position but Don postures up. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Ray Don showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round! A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Don. Walters shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Don counters by moving into the clinch. Walters taking a breather. Walters wants to take the fight to the mat but Don manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Walters fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Walters is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Don manages to break the clinch.

Don shoots in for a takedown but Walters shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Walters seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. A chopping leg kick lands by Don. Walters tries to close the distance and clinch but Don swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Don fails with a takedown attempt. Walters is looking to clinch but Don is avoiding it.
Walters tries to keep at a distance but Don has taken the fight into the clinch. Don is struggling to control the position. Ethan Walters has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Ray Don is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Don blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
And that's the end of the fight! Ray Don comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Don has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
