Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Albert Rinderknecht (ranked 2551 p4p, 2701 weight class) and One Punch One Sub (ranked 306 p4p, 318 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that One Punch One Sub was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Albert Rinderknecht! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, One Punch One Sub! The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Roger Salmon and Paul Gruel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rinderknecht takes one to the chin there. Rinderknecht drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. One Sub tries to buck Rinderknecht off but Rinderknecht is having none of it. Rinderknecht prevents One Sub from escaping the position. Rinderknecht is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Rinderknecht landing a few strikes. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. One Sub is looking for a sweep. Rinderknecht prevents One Sub from escaping the position. Rinderknecht is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but One Sub is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. One Sub is letting Rinderknecht control him for a moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. One Sub is looking for a sweep. Rinderknecht really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. One Sub is trying to get back to his feet. You can see the frustration on One Sub's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Rinderknecht is staying tight to One Sub's torso, preventing him from escaping. One Sub is trying to get back to half guard. One Sub tries to escape but Rinderknecht is in control. Rinderknecht just content to control the position. The referee is pacing around the two fighters, thinking about a standup.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. One Sub is trying to improve his position. Rinderknecht slows the pace down.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Rinderknecht throws a body punch but One Sub moves out of range. One Sub just misses with a punch to the body.
One Punch One Sub seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Rinderknecht gets a clinch. One Sub lands a left hand.
Rinderknecht leaning his opponent against the cage. Rinderknecht swings wildly with an uppercut but One Sub uses good head movement to avoid it. One Sub blocks an uppercut.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Both fighters working to control the clinch. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from One Sub. One Sub tries to pull guard but Rinderknecht forces him back to his feet, against the cage. One Sub wants to break the clinch but can't.
Rinderknecht will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning One Sub up against the cage. One Sub decides to pull guard. Rinderknecht's corner is telling him to maintain position. One Sub keeping full guard, as Rinderknecht tries to pass. One Sub is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Rinderknecht slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. One Sub is trying to keep Rinderknecht in close.
That's four minutes gone in the round. One Sub has his foot on Rinderknecht's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Rinderknecht works his way back into a safe position though. Rinderknecht content to stall in guard here. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Rinderknecht postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Rinderknecht is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Albert Rinderknecht dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! One Sub ducks under a wild hook from Rinderknecht. One Sub works Rinderknecht's body with a nice hook. One Sub throws a hook but Rinderknecht blocks it. Rinderknecht cracks One Sub with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. A jab from Rinderknecht misses. We've been informed that One Sub has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. Rinderknecht moves out of range as One Sub strikes. Rinderknecht uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by One Sub.

Rinderknecht closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. One Sub pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Rinderknecht was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. One Sub lands a jab to the nose. One Sub scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
That's one minute gone in the round. One Sub swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Rinderknecht uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from One Sub. One Sub gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. One Sub lands with a shot to the body. One Sub throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Rinderknecht seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. One Sub misses the jab. Donk. One Sub catches Rinderknecht right on the button with a cross. One Sub jabs Rinderknecht to the body, keeping him at a distance. Rinderknecht keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Rinderknecht drops down looking for a counter takedown but One Sub sprawls and moves away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rinderknecht pushes One Sub up against the cage in a clinch. One Sub lands with a right to the head. One Sub tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Rinderknecht just stands there and leans against the cage. One Sub throws a punch but it's blocked by Rinderknecht. One Sub tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Rinderknecht smiles and moves away.
One Sub has been the more effective fighter overall so far. One Sub lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. One Sub throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Rinderknecht closes the distance and pushes One Sub back into the cage. One Sub can't get the takedown.
Albert Rinderknecht has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of One Punch One Sub. One Sub trying to stall but Rinderknecht improves his position.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Rinderknecht has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed One Sub clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Rinderknecht has good solid back control here. One Sub rolls, trying to escape but Rinderknecht keeps control of the position.
Rinderknecht has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of One Sub's body.

Rinderknecht has One Sub flattened out and is raining down punches. The referee is taking a good look at One Sub as he is on the wrong end of some big shots from Rinderknecht!
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
One Punch One Sub showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
One Sub gets caught napping as Rinderknecht dives in and scores a takedown. One Sub manages to retain guard. One Sub is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. One Sub keeps trying to improve his position. Rinderknecht stays in close to One Sub's body and controls the position. Rinderknecht connects with a couple of short punches. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rinderknecht avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. One Sub actively working from the bottom here. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Rinderknecht connects with a nice short shot to One Sub's temple. Rinderknecht is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. One Sub wants to get back to full guard. Rinderknecht moves into full mount! One Sub won't be happy about that! Rinderknecht lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rinderknecht fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

One Sub is wriggling around trying to escape.
Rinderknecht tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. One Sub tries to hold on but Rinderknecht pushes him away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rinderknecht sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. One Sub tries to lock up and control but Rinderknecht gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. One Sub is trying to reverse the position but instead Rinderknecht has taken his back - oops! Rinderknecht biding his time, controlling One Sub. One Sub wants to escape the position.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Rinderknecht really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for One Sub. Rinderknecht keeps control of the position as One Sub tries to break free.
And that's the end of the fight! Albert Rinderknecht showed his dominance in that final round. I think Rinderknecht has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
