Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jimar Kinkead (ranked 1321 p4p, 495 weight class) and Larry LeFell (ranked 154 p4p, 57 weight class). Kinkead comes to the cage accompanied by No Sunshine. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Larry LeFell!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Shirou Masuda and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
LeFell fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Kinkead avoids it really well and circles away.
Kinkead tries to counter by moving into the clinch but LeFell manages to circle out of the way.
LeFell has managed to clinch.
Kinkead stops a takedown attempt from LeFell.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kinkead throws a punch but it's blocked by LeFell.
Kinkead has dropped down and is working for a takedown. LeFell is trying to keep an underhook but Kinkead manages to get the takedown into half guard.
LeFell looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Kinkead is really struggling to control LeFell but he's trying to hold on to the position.

LeFell shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Kinkead napping and manages to drive through into side control!

LeFell tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no LeFell has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Kinkead is looking to reverse the position.
LeFell is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Kinkead is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

LeFell is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.

That was a close round but I would say that Jimar Kinkead will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.
LeFell shoots in but Kinkead avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Kinkead is looking to counter the offense by LeFell and move into the clinch.
LeFell goes for a double leg but Kinkead avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Kinkead continues to drive forward.

Kinkead lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Kinkead cracks LeFell with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
BOOM! Kinkead connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Kinkead looking to control but LeFell is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
LeFell wants to hold on but Kinkead pushes him away.

Kinkead takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
LeFell keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Kinkead has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of LeFell's face.

Kinkead lands a big shot there that rocks LeFell but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Kinkead is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that LeFell can do to turn this around?
LeFell dives in and grabs Kinkead's left leg, looking for a takedown. Kinkead pushes down on LeFell's head and hops out.

I would just about give that final round to Larry LeFell.
