Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Michael Lindson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Roessel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Michael Lindson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Michael Roessel!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Gwen Towbar and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lindson tries to clinch there but Roessel circles away.
Lindson tries to clinch up.

Roessel pushes Lindson up against the cage in a clinch.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Lindson.

Roessel escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Lindson closes the distance looking to clinch

and Roessel counters with a nice double leg into side control. Lindson won't be happy with that.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lindson is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Roessel has just dragged him back down to the mat.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Roessel wants to control but Lindson is keeping him busy.

Roessel stands up and we're back to a striking position.

and Roessel counters with a single leg into guard. Lindson didn't expect that.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Roessel stands and steps away. Lindson gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Lindson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Roessel on the ground.

Roessel thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Lindson is trying to control the position but Roessel postures up.
Lindson wants to stand and escape but Roessel is having none of it.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Roessel bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Lindson is trying to escape and get back to his feet.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Michael Lindson has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Michael Roessel is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Roessel wants the takedown. Lindson is fighting it off but Roessel persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Lindson's guard against the cage.

Lindson looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Michael Roessel comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Roessel has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
