Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Sheamus Secord (ranked 5147 p4p, 3431 weight class) and Wayne Stone (ranked 231 p4p, 187 weight class). Wayne Stone has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Sheamus Secord! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Wayne Stone! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Steven Brown and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stone gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Secord to score an easy takedown into full guard. Stone throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Secord trying to control the position from guard on top but Stone is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Secord is looking to stand up but Stone won't let him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Secord looking to pass the guard. Secord postures up.
Secord wants to pass the guard but Stone is keeping the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stone throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Secord slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Stone looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Stone trying to control the position here. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Stone can do anything to dispel that myth. Secord wants to stand but Stone is controlling his posture from full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Secord postures up.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Stone is looking for a triangle here but Secord uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Stone is looking to regain half guard here but Secord keeps moving and retains side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Secord tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Stone struggling a bit here.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Secord closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Stone to the mat! Stone manages to get full guard. Stone escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Secord gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Secord wants to stand but Stone has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Stone has an active guard here but Secord has managed to pass into half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Secord wants to stand up but Stone has a hold of him and won't allow it. Secord trying to control the action but Stone is working from the bottom. Stone wants to improve his position but Secord is controlling well.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Stone looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Sheamus Secord dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Secord looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Secord is looking to stall here but Stone recovers full guard. Stone looking to control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Secord passes easily into side control. Nice work. Stone is trying to control Secord's posture but Secord avoids it. Secord working the ground and pound but Stone is defending the strikes. Sheamus Secord overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stone tries to get back to half guard but can't. Stone looks to move to half guard but instead Secord has passed into mount! Damn! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Secord tries to control but Stone wriggling away. Stone regains half guard. Stone wants to control but Secord is keeping busy and won't allow it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Secord stalling away here and it's allowed Stone to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Stone working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Secord doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Secord manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Stone is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Secord rolls with it to try and escape but Stone cranks on the arm and Secord is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:38 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Wayne Stone! Wayne Stone was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
