Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Eduardo Corassa (ranked 1735 p4p, 1703 weight class) and Lusmu Kutvonen (ranked 125 p4p, 124 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 48 - 28 - 2, fighting out of New York, Eduardo Corassa! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 34 - 25 - 2, fighting out of St Petersburg, Lusmu Kutvonen! The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Felipe Paraventi and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kutvonen connects with a looping right hand.
Kutvonen throws a hook to the side of Corassa's head but Corassa sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Kutvonen misses with a hook. Corassa ducked under it nicely. Corassa misses the shot to the body. A little jabbing left from Kutvonen on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Kutvonen fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Corassa manages to avoid it. Corassa is looking to counter punch. Kutvonen throws a lazy uppercut
and Corassa counters with a nice body shot. Corassa slips a jab from Kutvonen. Corassa takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Kutvonen throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Corassa seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Kutvonen throws a lazy uppercut
letting Corassa counter with a right hand. Kutvonen throws an off balance right hand
and Corassa cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Kutvonen pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Kutvonen throws a right hand that misses
and Corassa makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. This has been an exciting period of action! Kutvonen scores with a sloppy right hand. Corassa should have avoided that one. Corassa uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Kutvonen. Kutvonen throws a sloppy body shot
and Corassa counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Kutvonen thinking. Kutvonen has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Corassa moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kutvonen swings widly with a right hand
and Kutvonen takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Kutvonen looks winded! Kutvonen throws an off balance right hand
and Corassa counters with a thumping low kick. Nice shot by Kutvonen. A good leg kick by Corassa. Kutvonen scores with a nice strike. Corassa scores with a body shot.
Kutvonen takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Kutvonen is rocked! Kutvonen circles to his right, straight into a beautiful hook by Corassa. Kutvonen falls face first into the canvas - great knockout victory for Corassa!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Eduardo Corassa! An intense looking Eduardo Corassa took to the microphone post fight and gave a little speech: 'Actually prepared for this guy.'. Lusmu Kutvonen was interviewed post fight and said 'I think this it is for me. Time to retire. Skills are gone..'.
