With a record of 9 - 9 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Valentino Andolini!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Shigeki Sano and Yasuomi Hirokawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A lazy left from Andolini finds it's target.

It looks like Mario Waters has been cut.
Waters looks for a takedown but Andolini sprawls well.
Andolini with a nice calf kick.
Waters misses with a takedown attempt - Andolini sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Andolini bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

Waters drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Waters stopping the sweep attempt from Andolini.

Waters wants to control from the top but Andolini keeps moving.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Waters not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Waters fails with a takedown attempt.

Andolini is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Andolini looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Andolini keeps control of the position for the meantime.
Waters wants to control but Andolini is keeping him busy.

Andolini is staying active underneath Waters, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Andolini won't allow Waters to pass to mount.
Andolini preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Waters misses with a takedown attempt - Andolini sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Waters feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Andolini holds on and takes a little breather.

Waters looking to control the position here, rather than advance.

Waters drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Andolini dives on top into guard.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Waters is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Andolini throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Waters throws a big counter combination but Andolini scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Mario Waters is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Waters looks for a takedown but Andolini sprawls well.
Valentino Andolini seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Waters bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Waters looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Waters gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Andolini gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Waters is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:26 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Valentino Andolini!
