Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Timothy Flowers! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jim Deep! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, George Francis and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Flowers dodges the punch combination from Deep.
Deep misses with a two punch combination.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Deep moves away from the strike by Flowers. Flowers feints and as Deep raises his hands in defense, Flowers changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Flowers trying to stand up but can't free himself from Deep's guard. Flowers looking to pass the guard. Deep escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Flowers gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Deep working for a triangle but Flowers defends it easily.
Flowers decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Deep, up you get! Flowers feints and as Deep raises his hands in defense, Flowers changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Flowers thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Deep escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Flowers gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Deep keeping moving, preventing Flowers from controlling successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. Flowers passes Deep's left leg - he's now in half guard. Flowers looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Deep looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Flowers is working for a submission of some sort.
Flowers is breathing heavily. Deep is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Flowers pulls his head out easily. Deep looking for submissions off his back. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Flowers seems to be looking for submissions.

Deep has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Flowers should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Deep has tightened it up now! Flowers should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
