Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Maurice Boma (ranked 2669 p4p, 1806 weight class) and Randall Dean (ranked 316 p4p, 222 weight class). This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Maurice Boma! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 10 - 12 - 0, fighting out of London, Randall Dean! The judges for this bout are Ron Honeybunn, Eliza Hachem and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dean tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Boma was well out of range. Poor timing from Dean. Boma swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Randall Dean seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Dean looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Boma fires out a quick counter leg kick but Dean just manages to avoid it. Boma lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Boma uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Dean.
Dean misses with a wild body shot. Dean just misses with a punch to the body.
Boma scores with a jab. Dean acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Dean looks to score with a jab to the body but Boma is just out of range. Boma thinks about countering with a body kick. Boma clobbers Dean with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
It looks like Randall Dean has been cut. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nice defenses there by Boma. Dean misses with a jab to the body
and Boma counters with a body kick that stops Dean in his tracks momentarily. Dean takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Dean is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Boma rather than just go for the knockout. Boma slips a jab from Dean. Boma cracks Dean with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Dean tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Boma pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Dean is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Maurice Boma! Our winner, Maurice Boma, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
