Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Franz Ramos (ranked 702 p4p, 2930 weight class) and Loke Axelsen (ranked 92 p4p, 326 weight class). Axelsen is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Cha Cha PT2- Freddie Dredd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ramos is pushing Axelsen up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

It looks like Loke Axelsen has been cut.
Ramos connects with a body shot that sends Axelsen's belly button to the back.
Ramos misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Ramos cracks Axelsen with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Axelsen looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Ramos finish him?
Axelsen closes the distance looking to clinch
and Ramos counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Ramos is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Axelsen looks winded!
Ramos throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Axelsen looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Axelsen tries to clinch but Ramos moves out of range.
Axelsen drops his hands momentarily. Ramos doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Axelsen staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Axelsen doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Franz Ramos!
