Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Miguel Rome (ranked 3819 p4p, 2894 weight class) and Nurma Dirkinshan (ranked 0 p4p, 250 weight class). Nurma Dirkinshan is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Miguel Rome! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Nurma Dirkinshan! The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Roosa Järviläinen and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dirkinshan moves into the clinch. Dirkinshan creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Rome's defenses. Dirkinshan breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Dirkinshan tries to close the distance and clinch up but Rome swats him away and circles back towards the center. Dirkinshan throws out a leg kick but Rome moves out of range and Dirkinshan only half commits. Rome throws a big counter combination but Dirkinshan scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Dirkinshan forces Rome back against the cage and clinches. Rome is trying to force a seperation but Dirkinshan has the dominant position. Dirkinshan pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Dirkinshan gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Dirkinshan lands an elbow inside that Rome shrugs off. Dirkinshan looking to throw knees to the head but Rome is blocking nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rome is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Rome misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Dirkinshan.

A frustrated look appears on Rome's face as he tries to break the clinch. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Dirkinshan creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. That's two minutes gone in the round. Rome has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Dirkinshan gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Rome jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Dirkinshan walks away with a smile on his face. Rome gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Dirkinshan has Rome up against the cage in a clinch.

Rome is rocked! Rome working hard to break the clinch. Oh Rome is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Rome misses with a knee strike.

Dirkinshan lands an elbow that stopped Rome in his tracks for a moment. Rome tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Dirkinshan just stands there and leans against the cage. Dirkinshan has Rome pressed against the cage. He pushes Rome back and as he springs towards him off the cage, Dirkinshan throws a beautiful elbow that sends Rome crashing to the floor! Dirkinshan piles on the pressure with more strikes! Rome is flailing away but he's not defending himself and the referee steps in to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Nurma Dirkinshan! Nurma Dirkinshan made sure to give a little speech post fight, saying 'We come here to smesh brotha.'.
