Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Alec Wolfe (ranked 3800 p4p, 4066 weight class) and Ezekiel Booker (ranked 419 p4p, 429 weight class). Alec Wolfe has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Alec Wolfe!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ezekiel Booker!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Joseph Jones and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wolfe shoots in and drives through. Booker sprawls well.
Booker now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Booker tries to sprawl but Wolfe drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Booker looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Wolfe looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Wolfe escapes and gets back to his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Wolfe throws a head kick that misses.
Wolfe moves in looking to clinch but Booker pushes him off.
Wolfe takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Wolfe shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Booker as he avoids it easily.
Booker swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Booker scores with a nice head shot.
Booker throws a body punch but Wolfe moves out of range.
Wolfe takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Wolfe takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Wolfe tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Booker defends well and Wolfe ends up having to push Booker into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alec Wolfe. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A short body shot lands from Booker as the two fighters clinch.
Booker gets through Wolfe's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Booker tries to throw a body punch but Wolfe avoids it by throwing Booker back against the cage.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Booker lands the left hand.
Booker's corner calls for a 1-2. Booker obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Wolfe will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Booker fails with an attempt to clinch.
Wolfe throws a big counter combination but Booker scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Booker stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Nice straight punches there by Booker. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Booker.
A head kick misses from Wolfe.
Wolfe fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Booker avoids it really well and circles away.
Wolfe has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Wolfe there as he acknowledges the shot.
Ezekiel Booker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Wolfe doesn't manage to clinch there - Booker circles away.
Booker stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Wolfe doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Wolfe closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Booker to the mat! Booker manages to get full guard.

Wolfe is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Booker is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Wolfe is controlling him.

Wolfe passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Wolfe remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Wolfe shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Booker defends it nicely.

Wolfe's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Booker connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Wolfe scrambles back to his feet.

Wolfe throws a wild body kick that Booker sees coming a mile off.
Booker throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Booker cracks Wolfe with a right hand to the side of the head.
Booker connects with a good right hand that stumbles Wolfe. Wolfe circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Booker misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Wolfe.
Wolfe throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Booker.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Booker is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Wolfe with a body shot.
Booker uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Wolfe has time to react.
